Vina Nguyen is an associate attorney with Sanders & Williams. She earned her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law in May of 2022. There, she was a senior associate editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and a member of Cumberland School of Law’s Mediation Team. In Fall of 2021, her student note “The Cost of Maintaining the Rights of a Trademark” was published in Volume 45, Number 1 of Cumberland’s American Journal of Trial Advocacy. She currently focuses on workers’ compensation defense and premises liability. Vina is licensed to practice in all State Courts in Alabama.

Prior to attending Cumberland School of Law, Vina obtained a bachelor’s degree in physics and a master’s degree in biological engineering from Mississippi State University.

She has one daughter affectionately called “Lucy Goose.” In her free time, she enjoys doing jigsaw puzzles, cooking, and reading.
